Tuesday: Le Switch debuts new material at the Echo, where they open for Kitty, Daisy and Lewis.
Wednesday: Army Navy are at Spaceland, with Thee Mighty Angels opening. Thee Mighty Angels are a relatively new band featuring David Newton of The Mighty Lemon Drops and Brian Reyes of The Little Ones.
Thursday: Oh Boy. I don't know how to deal with this one. No matter where you go, you're going to miss something great.
- The popular pick: Everest and Red Cortez at the Hammer Museum. Free!
- The underdog pick: his Orchestra and The Minor Cannon at Silverlake Lounge.
- The very strong alt-country pick: Dusty Rhodes and the River Band with Olin & The Moon at the Echoplex. Do yourself a favor and check out the tracks on Dusty Rhodes' myspace page. They are excellent.
- The non-local pick: Mighty Mighty Bosstones play at the House of Blues in Anaheim, their only SoCal date.
